Instructions for heating & application

How to prepare hot pack (first use only):

● Submerge the hot pack in warm water in an enamelled or stainless-steel pan for 2 hours

Clinical use heating instructions:

● Submerge the hot pack in the heating unit with a water temperature of 160° F (71° C) for 20 minutes before use.

Home use heating instructions (stovetop):

● Submerge the hot pack in water in an enamelled or stainless-steel pan, covering it completely.
● Heat water to 160° F (71° C) and immerse the hot pack in it for 20 minutes before use.

Application:

● Grasp the hot pack loops with tongs to remove it from the hot water. 
● Wrap it in a terry cover (sold separately) and/or layer it with dry towels.
● Steam will penetrate the layers; adjust the intensity by adding or removing towels.

Storing your hot packs

To extend the life of hot packs, proper storage is essential. Here are important steps to follow:

For frequent, regular use:

● Keep the hot pack in the heating unit at a temperature of 160°F (71°C)

How to store:

● Place the hot pack in a sealed plastic bag and store it in the freezer
● To reheat frozen hot pack, remove from plastic bag and follow heating instructions
