We've been working behind the scenes to introduce new features and updates to our website layout to enhance your overall experience and make it easier and more welcoming to navigate, whether you're a new OrthoCanada customer or one of our valued long-time partners.

Some of these updates focus on improving your shopping experience, while others aim to better direct you to the right information as you browse the site.

Quote Cart

When you browse OrthoCanada.com, you can now use a dedicated "Quote Cart" for quotes.

To fully utilise all the features of the Quote cart, please ensure you are logged into your professional account, or you will only be able to add "quote-only" products to your Quote Cart.

While browsing the website, just click on the "Add to Quote" button on the product page.

The product will be added to your "Quote Cart," which you can access by clicking the "clipboard" icon.

This opens the "Mini quote cart" where you can view what's currently in your cart and keep adding items to your quote. Click "View My Quote" when you’re ready to proceed.

This will take you to the full Quote cart, where you need to enter your details. You can also add notes to each item if you have questions or comments to relay with quotes.

Click "Submit Quote" after you've filled in your details, and your quote will be submitted for our team's review!

The Quote Cart can be accessed at any time by clicking the "clipboard" icon on the right side of the headers.

Certain products on our website can only be quoted and cannot be purchased directly; these items are marked with buttons underneath them.

Please note that if an item you can normally buy is out of stock, you will not be able to add it to your quote.

Quote only product versus Buy or Quote product

You can view any active quotes by clicking on the "Account" icon and then selecting "My Quotes" in your account. They are also available under "Requested Quotes" when you are in the Account section of the website.

Please note that converting your current active shopping cart to a quote cannot be undone at this time.

Ensure you want a quote before proceeding with these steps, as you will need to recreate your shopping cart if you choose to buy directly instead.

Any active shopping cart can be converted into a quote quickly by following these steps:

Click on the shopping cart icon and then select "View and Edit Cart".

Click on the "Convert to clinic set up" button. Remember, this action is not reversible. 

Your shopping cart's content will be transferred to the quote cart.

Bulk Buying

Multiples products on OrthoCanada.com now have the option of being purchased in singles or in bulk quantities. These will appear above the product SKUs when available.

When on a product, simply click on the "Show Bulk Options" or "Show Single" radial button to switch between each quantity.

When browsing for products, the website now uses a layered navigation to guide you to what you're looking for without overwhelming you with every product category at once.

You can choose "Shop All" in any subcategory to browse them all without further narrowing your selection.

Search Result Filtering

When browsing a category or search results, you can further refine your search by filtering with sub-categories, brand, and other attributes.

Shop by Brand

We've upgraded our "Shop by Brand" sub-menu and "All Brands" page for an improved experience.

Popular brands, exclusive brands and link to all brands are highlighted in the sub-menu.

Help Centre

 Our new Help Centre is built to quickly connect you to the most popular pages on our website and bring all our information pages together in one place.

These new pages all feature a Help Centre mini menu on the left to help you find the information or support you need more easily, along with links that direct you to other sections of the Help Centre when relevant or when you can’t find the information you’re looking for.

You are already in the Help Center right now! This is the "New Features" page.

You can access the Help Centre at any time by accessing any of the Help Centre pages or links in the footer.

Product Info Icons

Most of the products on the website now feature product info icons beneath the "add to cart" button, which indicate some basic product information, such as whether they qualify for free shipping or require freight shipping.

Invoice Dashboard

Invoices from orders you've placed with OrthoCanada for both online and offline orders will now flow into your account under "My Invoices".

You can click any of your invoices to see it in the browser.

Pro Account Program

We have a new page showcasing the benefits of being one of our valued professional customers.
If you work in the rehabilitation industry, you get way more benefits when you shop with us.

New Education Pages

We've completely redesigned our pages for the Educational courses offered in partnership with OrthoCanada, featuring an improved layout and design. Find them in the "Education" sub-menu or in the footer!

Maintenance Guides

We've created maintenance guides for our most common and popular modalities and capital equipment. Inside, you will find resources to help troubleshoot equipment available through OrthoCanada, including user manuals, maintenance videos, and replacement parts when available.

Predictable Newsletter

When you're a member of our newsletter, you're signing up for a predictable amount of emails per month. We send a promotional email with all of our monthly offers on the first day or first Monday of the month, whichever comes first.

If you are an existing or legacy customer and want to customize your newsletter preferences, please check the footer of your most recently received marketing email for the red "Manage Preferences" link.

Each email clearly identifies the type of newsletter it is, and unless you sign up for additional email types such as "Product Features" or "Educational", you will never get more than one email per month from OrthoCanada. (Unless we have some really exciting news like this new website!)
