ASO’s without stays have been one of the most popular braces for the protection against, and treatment of, ankle sprains. However, ASO plastic stays enhance treatment of ankle sprains, & may be removed after the recovery period. They enhance proprioceptive protection, especially during an acute phase of ankle sprain treatment. This ASO model’s stabilizing straps form a figure-eight to protect and support the ankle. Elastic cuff closure enhances support from stabilizing straps and secures laces. Low profile fits in any type of shoe. Bilateral design: each size fits left or right foot. Ballistic nylon boot provides tremendous strength and durability.
