Physiax Children’s Parallel Bars Plus, 6.5’ – Pediatric Rehabilitation with STandGOSystem™
This 6.5’ parallel bar system is specifically designed for children’s gait training and rehabilitation. With its innovative STandGOSystem™, adjustable handrail width, and modular design, it allows therapists to safely support verticalization, step training, and functional recovery in pediatric patients.
The system features a painted steel frame with a laminated, wear-resistant wooden platform, complete with access ramps to facilitate safe entry and exit. Handrail height is adjustable from 24.5” to 31.5” using the STandGOSystem™, which enables immediate and continuous adaptation to the child’s body size. Height can be adjusted even during rehabilitation, without interrupting the exercise session.
The handrails are also adjustable in width from 21.7” to 28”, allowing precise adaptation to the child’s posture and evolving motor pattern. Made from non-slip thermoplastic, all surfaces are easy to disinfect, making the system suitable for intensive clinical use.
Key Features
- Pediatric-Specific Design: Optimized height and width ranges for children's gait rehabilitation.
- STandGOSystem™: Features a double gas spring for immediate and continuous height adjustment (24.5" to 31.5").

Therapeutic Advantages
Easier Verticalization: The STandGOSystem™ allows children to rest their forearms on the handrails while remaining seated, supporting natural verticalization and reducing the physical assistance required by the therapist.
Optimizing Patient Locomotion: Therapists can progressively adapt handrail height and width as the child's motor patterns develop, ensuring the bars do not interfere with posture or balance as recovery progresses.
Antebrachial Support Compatibility: For early-stage rehabilitation, the system can be used with optional antebrachial supports (sold separately) to provide a fully supported and safe environment for gait assessment.
