The NuStep UE8
with Integrated Sensor Technology
The NuStep UE8 series offers advanced upper-body ergometer solutions for Canadian rehabilitation, neuro-physiotherapy, cardiac rehab, and inclusive exercise spaces.
Designed to ensure easy access for every user, the NuStep UE8 builds on the robust NuStep product line with a fully inclusive, swivel-design ergometer. Increasing upper body strength is a first step for many after a stroke or other injury.
As an early step in their rehab journey, the UE8 accommodates wheelchairs, can be used with the swivel seat, and can even be used in a standing position. There is no heavy chair to remove or trip-and-fall hazards to navigate. The unique swivel motor design makes the UE8 ergometer fully accessible for every patient.
Integrated Sensor Technology provides real-time feedback on power imbalances between the left and right arms during use. This feedback is invaluable to clinicians, allowing for swift adjustments to treatment protocols.
Who can benefits from a NuStep UE8?
Neurological & Spinal Injury Clinics
Patients with lower-limb limitations or paralysis can use the UE8 to maintain cardiovascular health and increase muscle strength.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Ideal for upper-body-only cardio protocols post-surgery or for clients with lower limb insufficiencies.
Community & Senior Wellness
Low-impact, inclusive design allows older adults and mobility-impaired users to safely engage in upper-body conditioning.

The UE8 series offers 15 clinically tailored resistance levels with smooth ramping and feedback control, ideal for progressive training.
The Max version features a 22″ swivel seat for extra comfort for broader users. The Pro uses a more standard-width seat. Both seats offer 360° swivel and 12° recline.
