Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, the Capital Equipment Sale Representative is responsible for contributing to the overall growth of OrthoCanada’s sales (with a focus on certain lines of equipment), as well as developing relationships with key strategic accounts. This requires being highly knowledgeable about OrthoCanada’s capital equipment and supplies, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, responding to capital equipment inquires as well as supplies inquiries for key customers, closing sales, communicating with the Logistics Manager regarding delivery requirements, and invoicing customers. A high level of teamwork amongst the sales team is required.

 

Duties and responsabiities:

Sales

· Help maintain and grow OrthoCanada’s reputation as the #1 provider of capital equipment in Canada.
· Contributing to the overall growth of OrthoCanada’s sales.
· Developing relationships with key strategic accounts – both at the clinician and senior level. Becoming a go-to resource for these people.
· Identifying and pursuing capital equipment and other sales opportunities with strategic accounts.
· Responding to inbound capital equipment inquires, as well as supplies inquiries for certain key accounts.
· Being knowledgeable in regards to OrthoCanada’s product offering (both capital equipment and supplies). Educating customers about key product attributes.
· Understanding and communicating OrthoCanada’s values; demonstrating what makes us and our products different.
· Closing sales, communicating with the logistics manager regarding delivery requirements, and invoicing customers.
· Continually striving for customer service excellence; going the extra mile to satisfy customers.
· Communicate with all customers to answer questions or address complaints.
· Following up on important sales / with important customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Follow up with clients whose purchasing patterns have dropped off, to re-establish the relationship.
· Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
· Assist the rest of the sales team as required, as a cohesive team.


Administration:

· Liaise with the Purchasing Manager and Logistics Manager as required to confirm inventory status, shipped orders.
· Coordinate with the accounts receivable department as necessary to have payment organized. Invoice clients once shipped.
· As required, maintain certain reports, communication log (Hubspot), KPI report

 

General:

· As needed, represent OrthoCanada at trade shows or congresses.
· Might be called upon to assist in other areas of the business as required such as other administrative tasks, sales & marketing tasks.
· Continuously look for ways that OrthoCanada can improve, whether within the sales department or elsewhere. Share suggestions with management.

 

Qualifications and requirements :

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English
· Sales background
· Experience in rehab or health care is an asset

* Selected candidate may be asked to travel to the head office in Gatineau for training and events. To be discussed during the interview.
