BTL radial Shockwave systems produce a special wave, called a shockwave, by quickly striking the transmitter with a projectile inside the handpiece.  The resulting wave delivers a strong shockwave to the tissue.  This lowers muscle tension, inhibits spasm and decreases substance P.  BTL Shockwave treatments accelerate healing by improving metabolism, increasing neovascularization, and enhancing collagen production.  Shockwave therapy will also help with the reabsorption of calcium deposits, leading to increased mobility and range of motion.

The BTL Pro system offers 4 bars of pressure, and 15 Hz, compared to the Elite system offering 6 bars of pressure and 22 Hz.  However, in many cases, 4 bars of pressure is sufficient to treat the most common issues.   The Pro is ideal for busy clinics looking to balance cutting edge technology and price.

The new Intelligent Magnum Applicator features: • Spin dial to fine-tune therapy parameters, allowing therapists to adjust settings on quickly during treatment • Smart Indicator of therapy parameters shows treatment settings at a glance • Ultralight and ergonomic design to increase therapist safety and comfort • Shock-absorbing cushioning for both the therapist and patient, making treatment more comfortable

BTL offers a 2 year warranty on the system and handpiece, as well as a 2 million shock warranty on the revision kit.  However, the benefits go well beyond the warranty!  All BTL systems include training with our National trainer, and access to additional training opportunities.  In the rare event that there is an issue with your unit and it needs repair, we can offer a loaner at no charge (during the warranty time period).  But the best thing about the BTL Shockwave systems is that BTL isn’t only creating shockwave.  BTL offers a full line of modalities from a simple Ultrasound system, all the way up to a Super Inductive System or cutting-edge Decompression.  BTL allows you to have a full range of matching modalities, with similar software and design for a cohesive, beautiful clinic.

BTL Industries is a leading manufacturer of medical equipment around the world, with over 80 worldwide offices.  They are a leader in non-invasive treatments for all healthcare. The BTL 6000 Pro Radial Shockwave is a non-invasive therapy device used by physiotherapists, chiropractors, and sports medicine clinics to treat conditions like tendinopathies, calcifications, and chronic muscle pain. It features a Magnum applicator with ergonomic grip and real-time dial adjustment, up to 4 bars of pressure and 15 Hz frequency, and includes preset therapeutic protocols accessible through a 5.7” touchscreen interface.
