OrthoCanada offers four brands of ultrasound machines for
physiotherapy & rehab that are accredited by Health Canada and
have Medical Device Licenses for Canada. Three of them are clinical
models and one is recommended for personal home healthcare use. The
EMS SoLo? Ultrasound machines, Chattanooga Intelect? Ultrasound machines
and Mettler Sonicator? Ultrasound machines are our clinical models
and the home use model is the Sonic relief Ultrasound.
EMS Solo 355 & 455 Ultrasound Machines
SoLo units are manufactured by Electro-Medical Supplies, established
in 1924.
The SoLo 355 & 455 Ultrasound machines are lightweight and
easy to use, with a memory function for easy recall of favourite programs.
The 4 cm2 head is supplied with the standard package; a small head
or a 4 cm2 angled head are optional. With the soundhead in full contact,
the rim lights up. When sufficient contact is lost, the light turns
off and the 455 pauses until sufficient contact is re-established,
at which point the 455 automatically continues with the selected ultrasound
treatment time. Soundheads are waterproof.

SONICATOR® 740 Ultrasound Machines
Replacing the Sonicator 730, the 740 features a dual frequency 5 cm2
soundhead, (1 & 3 MHz) that attaches securely to the sides of
the unit. Select treatment parameters with large soft rubber controls;
a back-lit digital display shows the treatment in progress & is
easily seen from all angles. To give a full selection of soundheads,
the Sonicator 740-X also includes two single frequency soundheads:
a 1cm2 / 3 MHz and a 10 cm2 / 1MHz.

pack is available.
