Cefar REHAB 2 Pro – 2 channel NMES & TENS
Cefar REHAB 4 Pro – 4 channel NMES & TENS
Cefar Rehab XT – 2 channel NMES & TENS
Cefar’s Indication Specific Clinical Guide (created by physiotherapists)
has photographs of electrode placement & instructions including
intensity, treatment time, exercises, & when to use the manual
control. The treatments are adjusted for stimulating larger &
smaller muscle groups. The Rehab 2 can stimulate 2 muscle groups at
once; the Rehab 4 can run 2 different programs at once, or have all
8 electrodes coordinated.
Both have a Manual Hand Switch for clinician/patient control of contraction
duration & rest time. Both Monitor Compliance. Both have Preprograms,
but the Rehab 2 has 30 while the Rehab 4 has 109. The Rehab 2 has
can save up to 7 protocols with manually set parameters; the Rehab
4 saves up to 30. Both have a Key Lock to prevent erroneous setting
changes during a treatment session. Rechargeable batteries included.
Cefar PHYSIO 4 – NMES, Serial Contractions, TENS, Denervated
Muscle Diagnostic / Treatment, Galvanic (Iontophoresis & Water
Treatments)
4 channel mains or rechargeable battery
In 131 preset programs based on the latest clinical research
in physiotherapy, Cefar has produced an extensive Clinical Guide describing
in photographs & text how to use each of the programs in the Physio
4. This includes detailed method descriptions, electrode placement,
stimulation intensity, treatment time, exercises, & when to complement
by using the manual control.
Up to 50 manual protocols can be saved in the NMES, TENS, & denervated
muscles treatments. The Physio 4 can stimulate 2 muscle groups at
once, run 2 different programs at once, or have all 8 electrodes coordinated.
It has a Manual Hand Switch for clinician or patient control of contraction
duration & rest time. Each channel has independent current settings.
NMES: 68 pre-programs in groupings – Rehab (including for hemi
& paraplegia), Sports/Fitness (training force & alternating
stim), & Incontinence.
Serial Contractions: Functional movement pattern facilitation or reeducation,
including stroke & other brain-injuries (eg. grip / release, hand-to-mouth,
antiflexion synergia & standing up)
TENS groupings: Nociceptive, Neurogenic, General, & Specific (eg.
neck / back / hip pain, menstrual pain, angina pectoris, improved
peripheral wound healing, nausea)
Denervated muscle diagnosis of the degree of denervation, with treatment
programs to prevent athrophy.
Galvanic current in water (increase circulation, treating edema &
hyperhidrosis) or iontophoresis (corticosteriod treatment of bursitis,
tendonitis, etc)
