The CEFAR REHAB XT is a rehab stimulator that makes it easier and safer to turn treatment over to the patient quickly. The patient never needs to worry about the current being too high or too low, because the CEFAR REHAB XT automatically sets and adjusts the amplitude level for each individual with the CEFAR EASY TOUCH™ system. To enable patients to integrate the treatment easily with regular training, the programs are made up of sets and reps, just like regular muscle training programs – CEFAR EASY TRAINING™.

· The CEFAR REHAB XT has 112 preset programs. To make it easier to find the right program, they are divided into groups: REHAB, TENS and SPORT. The menu system in the CEFAR REHAB XT is improved compared with earlier stimulators. All information and options are constantly visible on the display, so you don’t need to switch between menus. The programs are indication-specific and cover these areas:
Neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. All programs have two levels of intensity so that treatments can be increased over time.
Pain alleviation. The CEFAR REHAB XT has traditional TENS programs and indication-specific programs for both neurogenic and nociceptive (joint and muscular) pain.
Massage. The CEFAR REHAB XT offers massage programs that relax and revitalize while enhancing circulation.
Warm-up. The warm-up programs effectively prepare the muscle for training and treatment with electrical stimulation, etc.
Sport. The CEFAR REHAB XT lets you increase the rehabilitation level with a wide range of programs for strength, tone and explosiveness, designed for patients with a healthy neuromuscular system.
· The area of use for each program is explained in a Cefar Clinical Guide (CCG™). For each program, you see clearly and concretely where to place the electrodes, the recommended stimulation intensity, treatment time and program parameters.
· The CEFAR REHAB XT offers CEFAR EASY TOUCH™ – automatic amplitude setting – a tool to help the patient easily find the right amplitude. With a simple press of a button, the CEFAR REHAB XT automatically adjusts the amplitude to suit the muscle to be treated and the selected program.
· The Sport programs follow CEFAR EASY TRAINING™ – a concept based on known principles for muscle training: that the force, speed and number of contractions determine the results. The CEFAR REHAB XT shows clearly in the display how many sets and reps have been done.
· The CEFAR REHAB XT has two channels, but thanks to the double jacks it can be used as a 4-channel stimulator – you can use four pairs of electrodes at once.
· The CEFAR REHAB XT can run on regular 1.5 V AA batteries or a battery pack that you charge with a charger right in the stimulator, without having to remove the pack.
