The Kinesio Taping Association (KTA) has put together a quality educational video for clinical practitioners. This video is approved by the NATABOC for 1 contact hour of CEU. For other medical professionals, continuing education credit can be applied for by the individual practitioner to their state organization.
This video includes basic theory, functions and the application principles of the Kinesio Taping Method. In addition, Jim Wallis, MS, ATC, CKTI takes the practitioner through some of the most common clinical conditions.
The steps to complete the Home Study Program are:
1. Purchase the Kinesio Taping Video (VHS or DVD) through OrthoCanada (1-800-561-0310)
2. After watching the video, contact KTA (1-888-320-TAPE or education@kinesiotaping.com) to request the Home Study video test.
A passing grade of at least 80% is required in order to receive your certificate of completion.
3. Mail the exam with a $10 check to:
