CYBEX MULTI-GYMS & FITNESS EQUIPMENT

OrthoCanada is proud to represent Cybex for the medical market in Canada. Cybex, along with it’s traditional strength equipment, offers the Total Access Multi-Gym Program, a set of 11 stations that are accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative. The IFI focuses on the health and fitness needs of disabled people and provides solutions to the barriers many have previously experienced when trying to access fitness services and equipment. Among other features, the equipment includes:
-Raised iconography for the visually impaired.2
-Range Limiting Device to accomodate people with limited range of motion.
-Color contrasted handles and pedals for visually impaired people.
-Multiple handle position to adapt the height of wheelchair users.

OrthoCanada is an authorized distributor of Nautilus multigyms and Nautilus equipment for the medical market in Canada. HUR MULTI-GYMS

HOIST MULTI-GYMS

HOIST is known as a leader in the strength exercise equipment with products such as the Hoist Access Trainer, the Hoist Multi-Gyms 2200, 4400 and 6600. OrthoCanada also offers the HOIST KL (Kids Line), a unique line of fun machines, sized for children and small adults, to deliver real rehab and strength training results.

Research demonstrates that merely reducing the size of existing adult fitness equipment is not appropriate for youth regimens, and could potentially add undue stress to growing joints and connective tissue. By utilizing only compound/complex movements, the KL line reduces the likelihood of damage to growth platelets and epiphyseal plates at the end of long bones. The KL circuit is comprised of all compound/complex movements, designed to strengthen musculature without placing undo stress on developing joints and connective tissue.
